Hello.

My name is Andrew Leung and I am Zerothreeten. Zerothreeten was formed in 2007 after I graduated from the University of Lincoln and got my degree in graphic design. Through the years I have developed into a mix media designer, using all my various skills to bring something new and exciting to the projects I do.

As you can probably see on my site, I don't really specialise in any specific type of design, whether it be branding or advertising, packaging or illustration, photography or editorial, I go into these projects with an open mind ready to offer new ideas.

From a very young age, I was very passionate about design. I was brought up in a creative environment, members of my family were keen illustrators, photographers and graphic designers. I started off being very enthusiastic about illustrations and started off designing my own comic books for many years. I still have many of these packed away under my bed, waiting to be unleashed to the world.

As time passed, I started to move into the graphic design field and developed my skills from college through to University. During my time studying, I was never afraid to experiment with my work, bringing new ideas to the table.

In 2007 I got a job at Future Publishing for GamesMaster magazine as a designer. During my time there, I have helped give the magazine a fresh new look, updating many out of date templates and offering many new ideas to the editorial team. My enthusiasm and keen eye for detail has seen the magazine cleaned up and looking a lot more tidy lately as we aim to target a more mature audience. I use to read this magazine when I was a kid, so being able to offer my creative knowledge to the magazine is a fantastic opportunity for me.

I have designed four covers for the magazine so far, which is a great achievement, as most designers at the company wouldn't normally get a look in at my level. These include a split run of 12 Sega covers for the Sonic & Sega Allstars Racing issue. My art editors faith in me wasn't wasted as my cover for July won cover of the month for Future's monthly awards.

As well as my job at Future, I still carry on my illustration and photography work at home, as seen on this site. Its something I really enjoy and something that keeps my creative mind ticking. I also do freelance work in my spare time, so far helping bring new brand identities to new up-and coming bands, and also various other design work for friends and family.
